About Us

Originally,The Stubborn Bastards Band formed in early 2021 when four old dudes realized they could make some music! After a few test concerts the SB's have performed in many different venues from Mid-Florida Event Center to the Harmony Lounge in Fort Pierce, as well as our amazing concert at the Levitt/Amp series at Museum Park in Fort Pierce. With the departure of original band member John we have re-branded ourselves to the Patio Daddios

Brian was born and raised in the NYC bedroom community of Leonia, New Jersey. His musical introduction began when he fiddled around on his older brothers left-handed guitar (turned upside down!). In the late 60’s and early 70’s Leonia became a hot bed of creative musicians and local bands. Brian (with his brother Rob) joined the seminal band ‘Thunder Pussy’. Renowned for their musicianship and stage style, the band would quickly become a local favorite act playing clubs, schools and outdoor concerts during the seventies. The music continued during his college career at Syracuse University with a variety of musicians from Northern NJ joining Brian at various college coffee houses and local bars. During college Brian met and married his wife Gina. The music career was put on hold to focus on raising 3 boys and building a successful professional sales career.  As fate would have it, music would once again become the center of attention as Brian combined  his musical talents  with his new ‘Patio Daddios’band mates. As they say, ROCK ON!

During an almost 50‑year career in the apparel and footwear industry, Mike devoted his extra time to performing as a singer and actor in the New Jersey theater community. He appeared in numerous productions—including Oklahoma, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, The Music Man, Anything Goes, The Wizard of Oz, and many more—and also sang with several chorale groups. For nearly a decade, he served as a Board Trustee and Treasurer for the Phoenix Performing Arts Center, now part of the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, NJ.

Mike continues to share his love of music by performing the National Anthem for the St.Lucie Mets and at Rockin’ Riverwalk in Stuart. His full résumé can be found at michaeldalberg.net.

Now retired and living in Port St. Lucie, FL with his wife Betty Ann, he’s thrilled to have teamed up with Brian, Dan, and Randy to form the Patio Daddios Band. As Mike likes to say, it’s pretty amazing—finally, at age 69—to have joined a rock band.
